Acergaming laptops are designed to cut off charging at 100% and when the battery level drops to around 98% it will trickle charge back to 100% When gaming the battery MUST be charged to 100% BEFORE gaming and KEPT plugged in while gaming, this is how the laptop is designed to be used and the processor can only operate at max in this fashion
HiJackE , thanks for the help, it's as below, I've tried the battery reset pin on reserve. The laptop will turn on, if left alone for indeterminate time, around a day. It will stay on and charge for couple of hours and battery showing full then loses power and won't turn on, no power or charge lights again Aspire A514-52KG. Model Name: A514-52KG
